From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels cozy, intentional, and local in all the best ways. The food is fresh, flavorful, and made with the kind of care you can only get from a spot that truly loves what they do. Every dish tastes like it was crafted, not just cooked. The staff is friendly, quick, and actually cares about your experience. They make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. And the quality? Consistently amazing — whether you’re grabbing something quick or sitting down to enjoy it. Neosho is lucky to have a place like Briar & Thistle. If you want good food, great service, and that hometown comfort, this is the spot. Highly recommend!

Great little bistro with super friendly patrons and staff. Service was a little slow, but they were truly apologetic. Food was crazy good. I need the recipe for the pickle dip!! So good!

it was good, but nothing extraordinary. the fries were pretty oily, and they gave me a headache after i ate like 1/8 of them, but the fries tasted good nonetheless. the chicken sandwich was just okay, nothing fantastic (to me). my parents thought it was pretty good and would go back. the guy working had really good customer service skills. we waited like 15-20 minutes for our food.

Good restaurant that has potential. Great menu idea just needs a little tweaking. The Spicy Guac burger didn’t have fresh avocado, it was bitter and old. The Spicy Guac burger also didn’t have any spice to it. Would be better if it had a healthy amount of jalapeños to live up to its name. The Donut burger had a stale donut. A part of the donut was hard and not easily chewable. The fries were good. They do offer beer cheese as part of sauce for your fries. May possibly try again to see if it was a one off thing with the food. Spent $38.00 for two burgers with fries and water to drink.

I had the chicken katsu & it was very good. Just the right amount of toppings too. The blackberry mojito was yummy. The owner gave us a portion of loaded fries with hamburger on the house and it was delicious. That was a very nice gesture. Thank you.
